Finally caught The Fighter, great flic. I can see why everyone but Mark W. was nominated, and/or won an oscar. His role was pretty blah compared to everyone else's IMO. Either way it great was a great movie.

Went to a theater in the city over winter break and was torn between seeing that or Blue Valentine. We saw Blue Valentine, and I've still been meaning to see this. I'm glad you liked it. Stephen Dorff will never have a role like that again and it went unnoticed, eh?

Yeah. It's definitely a divisive movie. Some people I know think it moves way too slow, which it does, but it's actually quite relaxing and has a real sense of space.

Definitely an odd movie. Not really any dialogue until the 20-minute mark.
