What a fucking hidden gem. Hysterical and bad ass and I've never heard of it until my friend flipped it on. The black dude in it was fantastic.

Decent movie, certainly not a classic though. I was expecting much more depth and a much better finale.

        Touching

Best looking silent film I've ever seen, all tons of special effects type stuff.

Mad Dog and Glory - ***1/2 stars

-Bobby DeNiro plays a crime scene photographer that takes photos like an artist; as a thank you for saving his life during a drug store robbery, mobster Bill Murray offers the services of his best girl for a week.

Said girl, Uma Thurman, ends up falling in love with the shmuck and as a result, DeNiro is forced between returning to his meager existence and finally fighting for something he truly cares about.

Highly recommended if you want to see DeNiro in a rare sympathetic role...

...or Uma Thurman's tits if you're that hard up.

              Limitless - 2 1/2 out of 4 stars

Not a huge fan of Bradley Cooper but this whole film was really well down. Only gripe was the optical illusions that kept fucking with my head! Def worthy of a red box night or purchase of DVD.

Saw this film a while back. Eastwood's lines are as good as they are in Gran Torino.

                Gunny Highway is brilliant.

Been wanting to watch it for a long time but could never find a copy until I started torrenting.

In the minority, but I prefer it over Seven Samurai.

Very good stuff. Orson Welles did a great job in the limited role.

Much different than I expected. I would have enjoyed it more if they had stuck with a more realistic parody than trying to make it funnier with a lot of ridiculousness. It was not particularly funny.

Despite that, this is the kind of movie I would have expected an old Robin Williams to make rather than all the other shit he put out in the past decade.

It was a well-made documentary, not a terribly compelling story, but still enough to be interesting.

Saw that not too long ago.

I might prefer it over Citizen Kane

Take Me Home Tonight - 3/5 stars

it's exactly what I expected, perfectly average movie with a couple of laughs. Topher Grace really can't escape that 'Eric Foreman' type role, plus Teresa Palmer is gorgeous.

The Tillman Story - awesome documentary

About Pat Tillman and the cover-up from the U.S. government to hide the facts that he was killed by friendly fire and then turn him into a form of pro-war propaganda. They interview almost all of his immediate family members (his parents, his youngest brother and his widow....only his brother who enlisted with him was not part of the piece) and some of the men in his unit. It's great storytelling and you get pissed off at the end when all the top generals and Donald Rumsfeld are called to testify in front of Congress and completely pull the "I don't know" gimmick and ultimately don't have to answer for anything.

Also interesting that after his first tour of duty, he was in talks with some NFL teams and he could have left the military to return to the league. He decided to honor his word and he was sent to Iraq.
