beyond the mat - great documentary
the stuff at the end with mick foley and the i quit match against the rock....him and his wife have the 2 kids sitting ringside. the mom screaming and getting upset making the little girl get even more upset and cry....seriously wtf. why would you have your little daughter sit ringside while your getting your head bashed in. They think its real. Plus the mom knows its not real and still screams in fear for mick while he is getting blasted with a chair and just freaks out the kid even more

Taken had a baby with Alive. I fell asleep when the plane crashed and haven't tried to watch it again. Supposedly the action is pretty awesome, but i hadn't gotten that far yet.Comment

After thinking about it for a while I did not like the ending at all
It's not like something like Blade Runner or Inception where there is valid evidence supporting more than one theory. It is completely ambiguous to the point where there's nothing to interpret, it's just meant to "throw you for a loop".Comment

But wait - isn't that what the movie is about? What to believe and what not to believe, that is the question. Skepticism was the name of the game.
I was skeptical and confused about everything until I heard the Cranberries part, which I then thought to myself - this bitch dun goofed. I was no longer skeptical, I did not believe anything Maggie was saying. So, I'm watching, watching waiting for all these normal people to go through the motions and we find out Maggie's plan all along, but that's not what happened. Things started to get fishy and then Maggie and the girl met. Then they did the handshake. And I was skeptical again. All I was left with was my interpretation of something that was either extraordinary or a con. There's no true evidence either way - except that one glimpse of magic with no explanation.
That's religion in a nutshell. The prophet tells you their story and you either believe them or you don't. You have to make this decision on your own. There's never going to be enough evidence to prove it 100%, so there's always at least a bit of skepticism.
Nothing is for sure. We'll never know, we piece together what we saw and we interpret it. It means different things to different people. Some hate it, some embrace it, some question it. From only seeing it once (I plan on seeing it again, the theater was packed on a Sunday night, too) and thinking about it and discussing it with my bottom bitch, this is what I think is the explanation I like the most -
Maggie was indeed a traveler. The black woman was NOT a federal agent in the sense she made it seem. She was some type of agent, bounty hunter, something with access like she had. Perhaps even a traveler like Maggie. She was sent to stop Maggie from changing the future - their present.
But that doesn't mean it's the only possibility. There are plenty, but that's the one I like the most. The only thing they didn't answer that bothered me is what the black lady said to Morna or whatever the fuck her name was.
I literally got CHILLS when the two started doing the handshake at the end. Throughout the entire movie, I was like fucking christ they are doing this handshake thing a fucking ton I could probably do it myself. I was so sucked into how things were gunna unfold I didn't even realize what was happening until they were mid-shake. Fucking chills.Comment

I think one of the key scenes that people tend to overlook is that Maggie woke up naked in a bathtub in a cheap hotel room. I do believe if the black lady is indeed a cop, she isn't after Magie, but rather the person Maggie took control over when she went back in time. I can buy that an Arsonist low life criminal could wind up in a hotel room and OD'ing n the bathtub and dying which opened up the door to allow Maggie to use her body. That handshake at the end is all you need after that to confirm she is exactly who she says she is. The only thing really want to see and hear again is to hear Maggie talking about how the sound of her voice will be with them after she dies as long as they stand still and listen. This exact moment happens to the main dude after Maggie is arrested and he witnessed the shake. I didn't seem to catch it all because it moved so fast. That's just my theory ont he first watch. I'm sure it'll change with time and more viewings.Comment
