I don't think I would recommend it over any Korean movie I've seen. It didn't have any distinctive style other than that it felt like an indie flick. The actors did a decent job for a bunch of nobodies. Overall it just wasn't a very enjoyable movie.
I watched two great foreign horror films last week, Inside and The Orphanage. Inside didn't really do anything new but it did a really really good job at everything it set out to. For a traditional slasher/gore movie I have a hard time thinking of a better one outside of the classics. The Orphanage was great slow-burn horror, and is probably in my top 10 all-time of the genre. I wasn't a big fan of the ending but other than that everything was excellent.
I liked a lot of the ideas and possibilities for Another Earth but there were a too few many things holding it back that kept me from really liking it. From what I've read about it it sounds like it was a love it/hate it movie, but I pretty much fall right in the middle.
The Bourne Legacy: I'm a sucker for these kinds of movies, especially the Bourne Series. I Liked It. Look forward to the next one (?) hopefully the story is better now that they've established there isn't just one...
Battleship - Pearl Harbor and Transformers had a retarded baby/10 God Bless America - obnoxious/10 Total Recall - run of the mill sci-fi action shite/10 The Bourne Legacy - not sure how I feel about this one yet/10 Ghost Rider - what the fuck/10
