Flight was too much for me. Too preachy. The first 45 minutes were spectacular though. Denzel was a boss, I must say.

Django Unchained - Best Movie of the Year. Everything I've ever wanted in a movie all rolled up into this masterpiece.

The Hobbit 3D: 9/10, great movie would be a 10/10 but Django is just so got damn amazing. I don't think I got the pleasure of watching it in 48 fps though. I am curious of how to figure out how to find out if your local theatre offers it.

Django Unchained: 10/10, great movie throughout and the Jonah Hill part had me

Les Misérables: 7/10, I love musicals and it was well done but definitely dragged on in the second act.

                Django Unchained - perfect/10
The Imposter - interesting, but a bit unsatisfying/10
                The Details - garbage/10

Killer Joe - McConaughey has had a heckuva two year run. Between The Lincoln Lawyer, Magic Mike, Bernie, his work on Eastbound, and Killer Joe...he's been on fire. He's got a big 2013 and 2014 ahead, too.

                    Watched Flight.

Thought it was meh. After the whole flight scene, which was fucking awesome. The whole thing just went downhill.

Thought it was pretty funny, nothing groundbreaking. But funny.

                      Dazed and Confused.

A fun movie. Always wonderful to see how Affleck can play a grade A asshole so well.

So may people went on to have notable careers or at least notable projects in the years after 94.

I read some ridiculous theory that suggested McConaughey mailed it in with rom-coms for so long so he could have a fantastic run like this and everyone would be so impressed because of the image he created of himself.

I watched Killer Joe too yesterday. For most of the movie I was thinking "Why was this rated NC-17 its not really tha--ohhhhhhhhhh. That's why.

I dunno if its my own form of subtle racism or what but I tend to dislike movies more if the cast is all white trash. (This, Winter's Bone, Red White & Blue, etc.)

                              RomComs were probably easy money.

Absolutely. He'd show up at some exotic location, run around with his shirt off and get PAID.

Now he's getting serious and it's working for him.
