Resident Evil - Retribution - unnecessary trash/10 Hit & Run - garbage outside of a funny butt rape joke/10 Lola Versus - the reason people hate chick flicks/10
After seeing Argo, The Master, and Seven Psychopaths this weekend I've seen 18 movies made this year and liked every single one of them, really great year and still 30 left on my list I want to see.

I'm at 66. Only 22 I'd consider "good"
Going to see Argo in an hour with these potentially good movies left on my list -
1.) The Raid - Redemption
2.) How to Survive a Plague
3.) The Imposter
4.) Searching for Sugar Man
5.) The Sessions
6.) Holy Motors
7.) Beasts of the Southern Wild
8.) Sleepwalk with Me
9.) Your Sister's Sister
10.) Robot and Frank
11.) Easy Money
12.) Smashed
13.) Seven Psychopaths
+ everything that has yet to be released (Django, Killing Them Softly, etc)
Saw a prescreening of Lincoln tonight. Obviously extremely dialogue heavy, but surprisingly witty for most of it. Some really powerful scenes as well. Thought they captured Lincoln perfectly, especially some of the ambiguities with his relationship with slavery and religion. And of course Daniel Day-Lewis killed it.
The Man with the Iron Fists - Exactly how awesome you would expect a kung fu movie made by RZA to be/10
I got some friends to see it with me and they didn't seem as satisfied as me. Tried explaining that its a movie written, directed, and starring a rapper that has never done any of those things in his life before (besides acting I guess if you can call anything he's done that), this is pretty much the best possible scenario. Everything that someone would traditionally judge a movie on was bollocks, but I still enjoyed it by always keeping in mind that it is a HOLLYWOOD MOVIE DIRECTED BY SOMEONE IN THE WU TANG CLAN HOLY SHIT HOW DID THAT HAPPEN THAT IS AWESOME
