At least 90% of the time I think the average rating is spot on. I usually don't look at ratings until after I see a movie, unless it's one I'm skeptical about.

My problem with the community, is that people have a hard time judging good and bad - I'm one of the very few people that I know, that can enjoy a bad movie, yet come right out and tell you that it fucking stinks. There's nothing wrong with enjoying bad movies - but to come out and recommend the bad movie to someone because it ''ROCKED,'' just shows how fucking retarded you are (Not you personally.)

I've never really seen super troopers so I cant comment on it, but you are a bit right about recommending stupid movies however, different people have different tastes and with comedy those preferences can make or break the movie.

i check sometimes. I don't always agree with their ratings, for example their ratings of both Paranormal Activity movies.
