I used to think Mad Men was, but Boardwalk Empire's production as a period piece > Mad Men, not to mention BWE is rarely boring like half of a Mad Men season tends to be. Haven't caught up in Homeland although I'm sure it's pretty ballin'. Honestly have never seen an episode of Justified.Comment

The show has always had beautiful set and costume design, but starting with the last 6 or so episodes of season 2 (after the Commodore had his stroke) the show took off and hasn't stopped since.Comment

To those who said "get it",,,I plan on it. And I hope I can find those "collectives" Got an idea on the prices ???
As for those other shows,,,Game of thrones is good and so is Breaking Bad. The others...I haven't watched. But, I have to agree with the comment mad concerning the advantages that some of the other shows have when it comes to "content". The thing is this; I don't watch a show, or grade it on sex. That's where internet porn rules, so to grade a show on "sex appeal" is worthless, lol. Now, what makes it the best show on "regular" cable is the fact that the writing on the show and the fact that no one is "safe". They've killed kids. And to tell the truth I didn't think that Shane would get killed. From seeing so many "zombie" movies and seeing how/where they went, it's so great to see a fresh take on survival horror. And has anyone ever heard Rick and Maggie talk in real life??? Their english accents are super strong, lmao. i'm from the south and while I can tell Rick's is fact, Maggie does a really good job, lol.

I agree. There's another guy who pulls it off really well and that's Simon Baker from the Mentalist. Though it's not a southern accent he's doing. But, next time Rick gets mad, (which shouldn't be far into the show, lol) listen closely and you'll hear his "english" tones. But, the only way I knew Maggie was from England was I caught some kinda of interview she was in on G4 and she was talking about how her character was turning into a bad ass and they showed the clip where she drove that knife through a walker's lower jaw and then turned to the rest and was all happy, lol. By the way, here's a good link.

I tried watching "Talking Dead" once and couldn't get past how incredibly annoying the host is.Comment

Rick gives no fucks.
At all.
Old Rick would struggle with this for a whole season.Comment
