I hope he sticks around because I'd like to see the dynamic of him emerging as the more rational leader whereas Rick becomes more like Shane was towards the end. That would be a nice parallel I think.

I was going to write a lot out, random thoughts here and there of what I thought of this episode but to say the least I was disappointed. Would've thought they would really build on what was going on. Hopefully next episode's better.

I'll echo the weak showing. I have to say this show is kind of getting close to 'jumping the shark' IMO. The Walkers really are more of just a pain in the side right now, and when someone gets bit or eaten by one of them I sit here and say "really? You still having issues with these mfers"

I get the show is now turning into a human vs human thing rather then human vs walker, and it is about the human element of survival, but god damn everyone wants to kill any new person that comes along for no reason other then "we don't know them, can't trust them". Like Guvnah allows Andrea to stay yet kills the army guys and wants to now kill Rick and the group, and this was previous to the attack.

And just saying, show is 'in the south of the USA' and the majority of the people they 'can't trust' are black. just saying.

Ending was well worth it imo. I love how the Guvnah doesn't give a single fuck during the gun fight. At one point though, I was like "are these people going to hit a target or what".

I think that takes care of all the prisoners that they found in the first place.

I thought it was stupid how they couldn't hit the guy in the tower for so long. He was in the open and standing still. They can hit a zombie with one shot 40 yards away, but wasted two clips before they got him lol

my girlfriend turned me about 50 minutes into the episode and said "why the hell do we watch this show again?"...then kablammmmmm shit got awesome. quite typical for the show. a whole lot of nothing then shit gets real

I also have to mention that TWD got creative with how to kill the walkers. The scene where Daryl and Merryl (?) help the family on the bridge was kick-ass. Hatchback door slam on the head of a zombie was epic.
