Yeah but think about what happened last episode. They spent like 45 mins of the show just wasting time around the camp trying to figure out where they were going to go and then finally they decide, take 5 mins to get them to the destination then the show is over.

Not saying the show is bad, it's just boring sometimes.

In some ways, it was a transitional episode to set up the finale next week. Can't be action packed every step of the way.

b) He probably told them that there's a local prison they could hole up in (again, they go to one in the comic)

c) If it isn't the prison, it's either the village where Rick ends up cutting off his hand or D.C.

a. Merle is not in the comics.

b. this is possible, but I have to wonder if the doctor could see everything in the CDC via cameras. Maybe saw Shane molest Laurie?

c. in the comics they hit up another town before finding the prison. Not sure if they will go this route. I don't think they will bring in the governor for a while, still a lot of stuff to happen. The Prison and Governor are semi-related

That his wife is pregnant. The doc did perform blood tests on everyone. Chances are one of the big pieces of "drama" for season two is that the baby is his best friend's.

This is another one I heard.

 

I'm pretty sure in the comics somebody who dies even of natural causes comes back. So the doctor was telling him everybody already has the disease and to put a bullet through the brain of anybody who dies, bitten or not.

I think Twigg's explanation is more likely though.
