The hiding under the car highway scene looks cool, but won't the Walkers smell them?

Remember last season Episode 2 or 3, the group in the ATL said the walkers smell different then the living, and that the walkers smell the living. So they covered themselves in zombie blood so they could walk through the streets undetected. They were disguising the smell by covering themselves with zombie blood.

Wouldn't they be sitting ducks under those cars, because the walkers could smell them?
