Zombie physics has never quite been perfected.
Its either one of two ways...
A Zombie is a human with a virus that manifests itself after death and these types are are some animalistic motherfuckers that run and jump and shit.
OR
A Zombie is a dead human, bought forth by some mystical force (Apololypse, or just because, etc.) and they tend to slow prodding motherfuckers that herd.
The Walking Dead can't seem to figure out which one is better, so they have traits of them all and are manipulated depending on what dumb drama they want to create.
After over a year fighting these fuckos, I don't understand how this group of people still finds themselves into these Zombie-rific situations. You'd figure they'd all have crossbows by now, they'd have a ton of shit scouted out (including the whole fucking prison considering the numbers they have), shit cleaned up (again, they have a whole town worth of hands on deck), and more protection outside the compound (for fucks sake, Rick and his son were already at Morgan's spot where they saw how successful his set up was at keeping Walkers at bay and its not like they lack wood to build the protection around the prison, they are surrounded by forest).
The Walkers keep trying to breach fence...why not set up the perimeter, especially where they have high density Walker clutter, with the sharp logs surrounding the fuckin perimeter? Why is the place not cleaned the fuck up? Common sense shit, once you have a community going.Last edited by LiquidLarry2GhostWF; 10-14-2013, 01:18 AM.Comment

This show really should've invested in a story line or two outside of Rick and friends. Have a couple who's out alone with a baby. Have someone who is being held back by a disabled loved one. Have a group of only teen survivors who have some Lord of the Flies, Game of Thrones politics going on. Anything. I say should've because it appears too late now.
Now that they have nowhere to go with the prison, they of course are gonna blow the whole thing up and everyone is gonna end up in the same position they already were in during season 2, 3, and probably 1. This is one of the few shows that I think needs to be more sprawling, but that's because no single character or group is interesting enough to hold it down themselves.Comment

He's got a group to protect, a place to hole up in where everywhere else has gone to shit, and people he cares for.
When he meets Carrie, she's basically a reminder of what happens when you don't have that and you still survive... somehow... in the world they live in.
When the pig dies, it shows that there's no place for hope in the world he lives in.
That even with the facade of how "helpful" the prison is and that there's a future with the new group he's formed with the survivors of Woodbury and more...
It's bullshit and the clock's still ticking until they all die.Comment

The pig was supposed to represent Rick's hope in the situation that he's currently in.

I watch it because the concept is so stupid and just want to see how the whole thing ends. I'm always flipping between this and the football gameComment

what do you expect ? they are trying to give real world drama to a stupid concept. Of course we are talking about a childish generation who thinks adopting a tv show from a comic book series as a good idea.
Falling skies is stupid LOL but I'm amused by itComment

Just leave the thread ram, you aren't adding anything as usual. When someone complains about the show, you can respond with something other than "What did you expect? OMGZZZZ Its a zombie show, not a drama." The comics provided some really nice stories and characters that are compelling and would be good if they were adapted correctly, but they aren't. That would be fine if their own stories or deviations were good, but they are atrocious plot lines that save them as much money as possible.Comment
