great, they wanna film something great when I just left, also, they got hit bad with snow, when I was there, there was like 6-7 inches in just a night or something, that was a bad snowstorm

so why are they filming in NY, new Gotham? Also, almost every superhero has used NY, Spider-Man, FF, X-Men, Superman, Daredevil, etc. Chicago is Gotham, next up for Batman, defeating the Transformers.

So I wonder if this means Carmine will be back in the series or not, they kind of left Maroni dead or alive. With all the villains piling on, I am scared its gonna go down like SM3, but I hope Nolan is able to put it all together, which I think it will.

Each movie has had essentially 3 villains so far anyhow - BB had Falcone, Scarecrow and Ra's, TDK had Joker, Two-Face & Maroni (and the rest of the gangs). Now, if this rumor is true, it'd be Bane, Catwoman and new Falcone.

The problem with SM3 was that Raimi had little control, the studio was all over him. They essentially forced him to put Venom in the movie. With Nolan, the studio trusts him 100%, as do I. He hasn't even come close to disappointing with any project he's been involved in. Superman is much more likely to disappoint compared to this

Christopher Nolan showed up at the New York Stock exchange yesterday, apparently he was scouting for possible shooting locations, and he liked what he saw:

The Hollywood Reporter is confirming that Cotillard is in talks to join the cast, but it's not official yet. Also reveals some new shooting locations:

A rep for the actress in Paris said that her involvement in the film is currently "in discussions, but nothing has been confirmed yet." WB France has yet to comment. The actress, who is pregnant and due in the spring, is discussing scheduling issues. The plan is for Cotillard to start shooting mid-June in London, film all summer in L.A. and Pittsburgh and wrap mid-November in New York.

Nolan had been focusing on finding the romantic lead for Christian Bale in recent weeks, reading and meeting with several actresses, including Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, according to insiders.

That sounds awsome, I wish they would have left out Bane and Catwoman and just gone with other two. They could have brought in Raz too.

My guess is Nolan threw the studios a bone and included Bane and Catwoman
