I can honestly say that if they drop FX I will cancel my service after the NFL season. Maybe sooner if the Bears shit the bed.

These things don't always get resolved by the deadline, but most of the time they end up working out a deal within a few weeks at the most after the takedowns happen. Dish Network has had a few of these negotiations as well. I don't have DirecTV's package that included VS channel, but did they ever get that one back?
Yes they got VS back. When they were having the dispute with VS I heard people called and complained since that channel shows a lot of hockey, DTV gave them the Center Ice package (NHL's version of Sunday Ticket) for free."It's the revenge of the dicks that's nine cocks that cock nines"Comment

WTF?!? No 'It's Always Sunny', 'The League', 'Sons of Anarchy' and others?!? You can't be serious. And why haven't I seen this on VSD yet?

I know it's more FOX networks but honestly I think FX is the channel most people will care about.Comment

Oh I will cancel too if they don't get deal, FSN is channel the Reds are on, speed would pies me off next. FX hurts but with tv shows I can always pick up the dvds or netflix, but sports is different, I guess there is always internet streamsComment

I think it's funny that Dish is running the ads when doesn't Dish not have FX etc?
I thought I read that somewhere.Comment

It's a total of 27 channels that might be taken off. I'm sure they will avoid this but we (the consumers) will end up paying the price in our monthly bill.Comment

The irony here, is while FOX runs this smear campaign against DirecTV, the bottom line is it's FOX who wants more money from DTV, which ultimately will hurt your bill. Who is the bad guy here?
From a business perspective, I understand why DTV is threatening to pull the channels, because that seems to be the only way these negotiations get done. Non stop extensions result in no pressure on either side, and these stalemates last forever. I know that mean very little to the consumer, but these things have layers.Comment

For those who cared, they striked a deal
