So I think instead of fringe albums that didn't make the top 21, my honorable mentions will go to albums that I think VSN hasn't heard of and might like. Or just albums a lot of people like that I don't specifically. It's cool helping people find new music. This guy is the founding member of Animal Collective for those that do not know and this album had steep expectations. I thought it was ok. But if you like Animal Collective or at least heard of AC, give it a listen.

I know I underrated this. It really should be higher on the list. I don't know why it is slotted here. But anyways here it is. I know Virix loved it, but I don't think he adventures into the forums ever except to make black posts, so he can't back me up on how good this album is. ALL OF VSN SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM. I know VSN is rap majority so you all have no excuses. Because XXX is an incredible hip hop album. Lyrics filled with punchlines, deep stories about drug use, and various other industry stories. Danny Brown isn't a lyrical mastermind that can be compared to the great lyricists, but he does a lot of things well. Especially the punchlines. My one dispute with the album is it is kind of long, which I always think is a dumb excuse to not like an album, but it is 19 songs. So for me, who likes to listen to albums in full, it can take a commitment sometimes and probably isn't always my first choice.
