We definitely disagree with some things going by that list. Mainly I'd have Hall Pass higher and Bad Teacher lower. I'd also have Super 8 higher. We do agree on some of the top movies though and that Bridesmaids was not the best comedy of the year."It's the revenge of the dicks that's nine cocks that cock nines"Comment

So I was looking at the GG nominees last night and realized, I haven't seen shit this year at all, absolutely nothing, I think the last movie I saw in the theater was Super 8, most everything I have watched for 2011 hasn't been well received or was just good, nothing that was great. in 2010 I had seen 8 of the 10 best Picture Nominees before the Oscars, at this Rate I will be lucky to have seen 1.Comment

I could be wrong, but I just don't see the best films of 2011 getting nearly as much attention at the oscars as the ones of 2010 then. Not expecting movies like Crazy, Stupid, Love, or Drive, or Warrior to get their due respect.Comment

Edit-oh yeah, Rango should be a shoe in for Best Picture from the animation side of things.Comment

Moneyball and The Descendants I'm sure will be shoe ins. Then there will probably still be 8(lol) more spots open for nominations. Could get pretty and they go to some of the movies like I mentioned. Or it could get very ugly, and they start handing them out to movies like J.Edgar and War Horse. Neither of which I've seen, I'm just assuming they're as bad as they look.

I really don't even see why they'd nominate anything else.Comment

Good news is that I heard that the Oscars are not going to have 10 Best Picture nominations every year, its going to be one of those Up to 10 movies, so I expect this year to be a smaller list, maybe 5 or 6, and other years they will have more in the 8 to 10.Comment
