      Strange Fruit Project - Luv Is
      [ame=http://www.zshare.net/audio/56581965c327ac88/]Strange Fruit Project - Luv Is[/ame]

      Another underground rap group, Strange Fruit Project is from Texas but is far from anything you'd expect out of southern rappers. Song is off of "Soul Travelin'" CD and the group reminds me of Little Brother/Justus League type of stuff.

      Let me know what you think.

            Wow I just found this guy a few minutes ago, hes real nice.

            In this song he has good lyrics but his rapping sucks, Charger had better production quality then he did on this song...........

                  Same for tons of songs.

                  Alot of artist who flop with their first CD's(Paul Wall, Katy Perry, Rihanna types....), when they finally do make it big they'll take a song or two from their first CD and put it on the radio and it's a big hit.

                  I don't know how far this song made it out of Texas so I don't know if you've heard it but Paul Wall, Mike Jones, and Slim Thugs big hit "Still Tippin" was out for like 3 years before it hit the radio and became a big hit.
                  Same with Paul Walls- Sittin Sidewayz. I heard both of those songs and actually forgot about them until they came on the radio, that's how old they were.

                            Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis, and Complicated by Avril Lavigne are examples of this as well.

                            Oh, and I'm not gay, it's just that these are 2 examples I can think of off the top of my head.

                              How dare you bring Avril Lavigne into this thread. Leona Lewis is ok, though.
