It would be sick if she opens her eyes and does go Avatar State, starts airbending, and then takes the form of Aang to take Amon's energybending away.... But then if Amon's revolution does end in the finale, what is the conflict for Season 2/the series conclusion? Or maybe Amon does take her bending away and then she has to learn energybending in the 2nd season and she only fights in the Avatar State?

Seems like Amon is really trying to start the bending era all over again to how it was back before the Avatar cycle.

Iroh is Zuko's grandson. I think it's known that Zuko and Mai only had a daughter.

As far as season two, if Korra beats Amon, she still has to restore balance to Republic City. Taking the head off of an organization doesn't necessarily take it down.

Well, I was close. Substitute airbending for avatar state, and Yakone's son for Yakone...

Season two will probably be about her reaching the Avatar State to get all of her bending back. Guessing it's called Spirit.

So fucking good. From the looks of it they have almost a clean slate for seaosn 2, can't wait to see what they do with it.

I thought she was going to go avatar state to save Tenzin and his kids. Hopefully Boomi and Iroh are main characters for season 2.

                  WHEN DOES IT START!?

Oh yeah, I just remembered. Originally they only had one season, they went back and wrote the second one later. Makes sense that Amon was finished now and didn't carry on into the next. Also explains the clean slate feeling.

Tarlock and Amon's scenes in this episode, too good.

I literally can't deal with this.

I really did enjoy this season, but the first series completely shits on this one.

Don't know about that. I think this first season was too good for any show to "shit" on it.

There was nothing in Korra that improved upon the first series in anyway. The first beat it in every way possible. This season was a bit too rushed, was lacking character development, and spent way too much time in romantic subpots when it could have been making the characters better. Not to mention Amon run as villain ended far too early, even though I liked his conclusion. In fact I thought his brother Tarrlock was a much better character. I can see myself watching this series one time over after its all said and done, yet I've watched the original series 3 times with the intention to watch it many more times over. I still dont know why they decided to cut the shows intro from the video below into a bland cut up shortened version.

It feels rushed because there was no filler. People forget how much filler episodes were in the original and also this wasn't suppose to last more than one season. More like a mini-series before it was called for a 2nd season.
