"He was a genius. Anyone who saw him even in the smallest of his performances knows that," (David) Chase said in a statement. "He is one of the greatest actors of this or any time. A great deal of that genius resided in those sad eyes. I remember telling him many times, 'You don't get it. You're like Mozart" There would be silence at the other end of the phone. For Deborah and Michael and Lilliana this is crushing. And it's bad for the rest of the world. He wasn't easy sometimes. But he was my partner, he was my brother in ways I can't explain and never will be able to explain."

The first time I went to Puerto Vallarta a guy at the bar had a heart attack... took 40 minutes for paramedics to show up.

Our resort was less than 10 minutes from the Airport and 5 minutes from the Marina.

                A real eye-opener.

Fuck yes. I never heard it described like that re: Gandolfini, but he got it 100% correct.

Well now I know what show I'm watching next after I finish Mad Men. I've been putting it off for far too long...

This. Legitimately bummed out. Great actor, and by all accounts an incredibly nice man.

Charlie Sheen will probably live to be 90 years old. There is no God.....
