Strong episode last night IMO. Actually excited to see what happens next week for the first time.

The tracking shot in this episode was so good.

Even managed some KRS! The last scene was so much fun. Love it.

Visually, it's a great show. I'm still not really as invested in the story as I want to be though.

It's a character driven show. I give no fucks about the actual investigation, LOL.

Neither do I... The slow reveal of Russ Cole's backstory is the only part of the narrative I care about.

The shit with Woody's broken home is paint-by-numbers domestic problems that happens due to police work. Been there done that a billion times.

Show has dealt in tropes since day 1, true. It's very trope-y.

But the execution has been damn near flawless so far, IMO.

Yea, I thought the way they played out him coming home to an empty house was great. The camera just sat on Hart and let his face and reaction tell you exactly what the letter said rather than some boring voice over reading the letter or him breaking shit.
