Last Sunday went to see This Or The Apocalypse.Second time seeing them,and they completely raped.I know the singer,and can now get guest passes for whenever they come out here and play .
Got tickets for the Sky Eats Airplane,ADTR,Emarosa,and TDWP show in April.SOOOOOOOOOO stoked for that one..

I've had a pretty lean few months really. Apart from local bands in pubs on a Saturday night I haven't been to a show since Motorhead last November.

It's slowly starting to pick up though. I'll be seeing William Elliott Whitmore in April and then a few weeks later I'll be heading up to London to see Devo perform the whole of Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo which should be pretty bloody amazing.

Future of the Left are back on tour not long after that so I'll go and see that one but I'll just have to wait and see what else comes up.

I took three people with me to see William Elliott Whitmore in Cardiff on Sunday; one of them is a fan of chart music, another has a notoriously limited taste in music (almost exclusively Pink Floyd and Tool) and the other has absolutely NO taste in music whatsoever (just listens to clubbing stuff).

When I told them I was taking them to see a guy playing the banjo their reactions varied from not looking forward to it to absolutely fucking dreading it.

Now, three days later they are all evangelising to anyone within earshot about how good he is, one has just bought his entire back catalogue in one go and another has sent a letter of complaint to the BBC complaining that he wasn't shown on a music show last night when he was advertised to be on it.

My advice: go and see William Elliott Whitmore live.

I'm going to the Roots Picnic in June. Last concert I was at before that was Pearl Jam in Camden last year, and Lupe Fiasco in Pittsburgh before that.

Got tickets to No Doubt in June, There's a strong possibility that I'm going to LA in late July so I might be able to catch the end of the tour there.

I haven't been to a music concert sine Warped Tour 2004 so I'm excited, and before that I've seen Mighty Mighty Bosstones twice and Smashmouth, that's it I believe.

A friend bought four tickets to Coldplay w/ Snow Patrol when they went on sale. I'm not a big fan of either (though I have seen Snow Patrol three times now) the GF is a HUGE fan. I think he is still trying to find people to go with, so I may be seeing that as well.

Got tickets for Dave Matthews next month. Probably will be attending 311/Ziggy Marley on July 4th.

I'm looking into going to the Def Leppard concert this year, good stuff.

I was front row for Killswitch 2 years ago, and they honestly disappointed me. I'd always listened to their stuff occasionally on CDs and such, but I was expecting their show to be a bit...more fulfilling I guess.

I also caught Coheed and Cambria front row that same day. Best fucking show. Amazing stuff.

Also saw TV on the Radio w/ the Dirty Projectors last week. Projectors sucked, but TV on the Radio was awesome

I caught Death by Stereo and Strungout last month. The show was good and the crowd was right into both bands. In fact, it was kind of heart warming for this 40 year old punker to see so many 20 somethings TOTALLY into this music. Their enthusiasm was infectious.

I'm going to see The Queers next week and Social Distortion and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in July. Unfortunately I'm going to be out of town the weekend Nomeansno plays here. Regardless, this are looking good this summer.

Goddamnit it'd take a fucking miracle but I hope I end up in Cali in July, I'd kill to see MMB again
