        - kinsler leads off too, those hr's mean just as much as pedroia (i think you were trying to say that pedroia shouldnt be obligated to hit a lot of hr's from the 1/2 spot?)

        - wakefield shouldnt be there with a 4.30 era, even if he is 10-3

dont get me wrong i think hes pitching great, but a 4.30 era is not cutting it, thats getting lucky, cliff lee has a 3.45 era and is 4-8

Cliff Lee has been very inconsistent though...He started off god awful...Then got his ERA down to below 3 after a string of great starts...and now he is back to not pitching well recently.

I actually dont think Pedroia or Kinsler should have made it. I think it should of been Cano and Hill.

As for Granderson, I think all these players are having better seasons than Granderson.

hill should definately be there as the starter but cano, pedroia and kinsler is a toss up would take any as a reserve

what a fucking joke, manuel selects his own player over sandoval, a big fuck you to all of philly

look im not saying werth doesnt deserve to be in the all-star game, he does, but not when you already got your way getting a crappy player named ryan howard in, we have 2 guys in the game, you have 4, 2 of which shouldnt, we have a better record then you, dont get greedy and put in your player who wasnt in the final vote over the player who was second in voting and had the best numbers out of all five

phillies better be wearing helmets when they come to sf

as i said, i accept the fact that werth is an all-star, i dont accept the fact that victorino or howard are there though, werth is an all-star in my eyes, but so is sandoval

Figured Pedroia would miss the game. His wife went into Premature labor or something and there are pretty big health concerns.

So I guess there is only one 2nd basemen, Aaron Hill? That makes total sense. I think Manuel and Maddon have been the two worst managers for the all star game in recent years.
