i think i agree with most things you brought up a couple i dont are

- kinsler leads off too, those hr's mean just as much as pedroia (i think you were trying to say that pedroia shouldnt be obligated to hit a lot of hr's from the 1/2 spot?)

- wakefield shouldnt be there with a 4.30 era, even if he is 10-3

dont get me wrong i think hes pitching great, but a 4.30 era is not cutting it, thats getting lucky, cliff lee has a 3.45 era and is 4-8

Cliff Lee has been very inconsistent though...He started off god awful...Then got his ERA down to below 3 after a string of great starts...and now he is back to not pitching well recently.

I didn't go to fangraphs originally. Looking at the stats i contriadicted myself a couple times. If you need me to break down any of these stats just ask i know they can be confusing if you're not familiar w/sabermetrics.

As for Granderson, I think all these players are having better seasons than Granderson.

look im not saying werth doesnt deserve to be in the all-star game, he does, but not when you already got your way getting a crappy player named ryan howard in, we have 2 guys in the game, you have 4, 2 of which shouldnt, we have a better record then you, dont get greedy and put in your player who wasnt in the final vote over the player who was second in voting and had the best numbers out of all five

Here's the numbers between the 2, Werth has more homers, but there is a huge difference in average favoring Sandoval.

Dustin Pedroia to miss allstar game Carlos Pena takes his spot. Fuck Joe Maddon I've lost any respect i had for him.

Figured Pedroia would miss the game. His wife went into Premature labor or something and there are pretty big health concerns.

So I guess there is only one 2nd basemen, Aaron Hill? That makes total sense. I think Manuel and Maddon have been the two worst managers for the all star game in recent years.
