Lee pitched phenomonal.....ain't much of a plan our hitters could come up with when the man was pitching like that...Lee was the plan lol

We need this game tonight, I hope Burnett ain't wild or the game could get ugly for us

Dude, seriously, knock that shit off. This is the Phils we're talking about here. Last time you started doing this, the Colorado series nearly gave me a heart attack.

        Two great reads:

        and...

Cliff Lee's southern roots came out as he dominated the Yankees and made some jaw-dropping plays in the field.

From the second, this quote is golden: “I just kind of blacked out,” Lee said. “Then I woke up and had the ball.”

It's REALLY easy to talk shit in hindsight. lol.

Either way, my god Cliff Lee was fucking ON.

That behind the back defensive play he made on the drive up the box was MONEY.

Take it easy broseph........we already won the WS. Thats the number 1 reason why there is no pressure. We have been there done that and we can do it again. This team is never out of a game, we know that, they know that and I have full trust in Uncle Cholly as we all should.

The Yankees haven't won one in almost a decade. They havel maybe 5 players from the last WS Champ roster, and the rest of them are too young to handle the pressure or choke artists i.e. A-Fraud and Texas Toast.

The pressures on them, lets just enjoy the ride and see where these guys take us.

That behind the back catch was more luck than anything, the throw after was impressive. More often than not the pitcher misdirects the ball, so it ends up in no man's land tween 1st and 2nd, because the 2nd basemen is out of posititon tryin to make the original play.

The non-chalant basket catch was a thing of beauty and sheer confidence. But I think the most impressive fielding play he made was the dribbler Posada hit, and Lee had to cover from the mound and tag him.

You also realize that the Yankees are better? Just don't talk shit until there is something to talk about. This is Philadelphia sports we're talking about here.

Talking shit? I'm just laughing at people who said the yankees would sweep and that there was no way that Cliff Lee would win in NY. Just facts. I never once said "PHILLIES IN 4!!"
