Says the Red Sox fan... The nerve.

With all the new millennium fans NE as a whole has acquired, one would've thought you fucks would be the last nuisances to say such thing.

Ray, I'll be at the parade. Hammered as fuck

I posted this at another site in response to all the jealous Yankee haters:

Here we go again. Yankees play by the rules of baseball. Don't hate the Steinbrenners because they spend money, invest in their team, and actually care about winning. The other owners won't change the system because of all the money the Yanks make for them.

This is the Yankees first WS win in NINE years. And before 1996, their last WS appearance was in 1981. But the haters only come out when they win instead of checking the facts. Like Gray said, it's also about judging and developing talent. The Twins have had success. How about the Marlins - they won TWO championships, an look at their payroll.

I am very, very tempted to go to the parade - I picked tomorrow as a day off a month ago. However, I'm probably not going.

On a side note, I stopped at Modell's on my way home. They were out of the hats and the on field t-shirts, so I'm going back tomorrow.

So people who like teams can't like them because they might not be in driving distance to them and what do u qualify as driving distance?

That's stupid. I grew up in Pittsburgh and am a Steeler fan that's mother is from Philly, which is where the Phillie fandom comes from. Now that I live in Philly, does it not make sense for me to keep liking the Steelers, even though I can't exactly drive to their games?

Your logic is stupid. Rooting for teams is rooting for teams. Proximity doesn't mean shit.

Kate Hudson was the real MVP. She worked her mojo on A-Rod's bat, and it paid off big time.
