From what I saw, Morgan got owned at the end.

That Marlins-Nats brawl was awesome. Gaby Sanchez fucked Nyjer Morgan up with that blind side hit. LOL at Morgan trying a rabbit punch on Volstad. I guess when you're giving up 5 inches you gotta try a jump punch. Didn't quite work out for him though. I rewound the clothesline by Sanchez 5 times.

Make room for me on the Braves bandwagon...I've jumped on for the remainder of the season.

Heyward was 4-4 with his typical tennis serve line drives that barely get over the short stops head but then dart all the way to the warning track. Freeman was 0-3 but hit the ball hard a few times right at the shift (good scouting by the Mets). Infante posted his usual 3-4 game to raise his average to .346. Dude is fucking unreal.

Final score, 4-1. Mets got just 2 hits and played pretty shoddy defense. Their broadcast booth admitted after the game that they're starting to become depressed. I'm not kidding. Going for the sweep tomorrow, I'll be in town so I hope to make it to Turner Field. Not sure though because going from the airport to Buckhead and back to Turner Field within 3 hours at rush hour is gonna be a chore. But either way, fuck the Mets and go Braves.

Yea Morgan got owned by Volstad and Sanchez. Volstad hit him square in the chin and you could see he felt and then Sanchez just rolled him.

Morgan's an idiot, now I understand why the Bucs got rid of him, the dude is crazy, didn't he do something nuts off the field recently? Also what the hell did he think he was going to do charging at Volstad. Just fuckin get back in your box and hit the ball.

Charging the mound has been shown as the dumbest thing to do since Nolan Ryan beat the shit out of Robin Ventura back in the day.

In a span of just a few weeks, Morgan has done some really bad damage to his career.

First he "Allegedly "" throws the ball at the fan in Philly. He is served a 7 game suspension on Aug. 25,,,,he appeals. You would think the guy might be wanting to lay low.

Aug. 28th St. Louis Catcher Bryan Anderson is standing in front of home plate, there is no play at the plate. Morgan scores easily, but instead decided to throw a shoulder into the catcher. Again there was no play at the plate, he scored standing up easy. But that wasn;t goood enough apparently.

Then last night, on a play at the plate, he trucked over Marlins catcher Brett Hayes and separated his shoulder. Yes, it was a play at the plate. Yes you can truck the catcher. But MLB network went over the play again and again, and said clearly the smart play would be to just slide at the back of the plate, Hayes had left the whole back plate open for an easy slide around him and be called safe, instead slid into the catcher injured him,,,but he was out. The smarter play would have just been to slide to the back of the non defended dish.

Sure it's a tough baseball play, but given what has already happaned this week that the guy has brought on to himself,,,well it doesn;'t look good that he is taunting fans after the brawl too.

One final note for the last two years I've really enjoyed MLB networks night coverage. I'll never go back to Baseball tonight. Their studio show is exceptional, I just leave it on every night. Gotta love when Byrnes makes a guest appearance in the studio.

Would not surprise me to see him get blacklisted. Baseball is all about the code. Don't violate the code and don't disrespect the game. Those are the only two rules.

If Yunel Escobar gets exiled from the Braves for whistling occasionally and not really hustling, Morgan's far more dramatic and douche-like antics will earn him a first class ticket out of DC this offseason. If he keeps it up with his next team, it'll be his last. The way he acted after the brawl, antagonizing the fans like a WWE heel, that was the last straw in my mind. Grade-A jackass.

Agreed wholeheartedly on your last point.. I've watched many a half-hour total of BBTN all season and I used to be a nightly viewer. MLB is just better at this point, and it's not even close.

I want someone to knock his ass out to make him realize he can't go around and doing the shit he's been doing lately. That was awesome when Gaby Sanchez closelined his ass outta nowhere last night and layed him on his ass. Too bad Strasburg is hurt, cuz that would be awesome to see a 100 mph fastball towards his head lol
