He's actually not allowed to anymore. Cadillac isn't a Phils sponser but Toyota, Ford, Chevy, etc is, so they told him to stop saying Cadillac. True story, lol.

Man, Hamels is just 100% locked in. Since the start of August, I'd say it's arguable that he's been better than Doc...just without the run support.

His current streak is 24.2 innings without a run, I believe.

I THINK Cole has had maybe 1 bad game this year, and I can't even remember that one.

A couple starts in April and the bad game vs. the Giants last month is all I can remember. Everyone said it and it proved to be right: He needed a 3rd pitch and that cutter has done wonders for him this year. His attitude and demeanor is also 1000x's better this year.

Crazy how Hamels has been dealing. The Braves got a good start of D-Lowe for a change and singled the Pirates to death.

That's how you are supposed to take care of a bad team. Headed back to Turner with 4 against the Cards then 3 vs the Nats. Great chance to get the division lead back.

After that it's all Mets, Marlins and Phillies. About half and half road and home.

Why we didn't bring guys like Clay Condrey back amazes me. This would never be an issue. Clay Condrey wasn't anything special, but he was perfect for these situations. Instead, we have stiffs like Nate Robertson and David Herndon who completely suck balls that can't hold a 10-0 lead.
