        I'd cut Rose. He's one of the most overrated baseball players of all time.

        The interesting question is whether you are talking pre-roids Barry or Baroid.

        Pre-roids Barry was most likely the best player I have ever seen...along side Junior and Albert.
        Between Pre-Roid Barry and Cobb would be an interesting discussion.

        I'd also like to point out that this position battle between those three is a battle between perhaps the three biggest assholes ever to play.

                  Lloyd Moseby and Chris Chambliss over Al Oliver?

                  Moseby is a .250 hitter who I dont think was even an all star. Oliver was a .320 hitter in his prime who won a batting title, was a yearly all star, and probably almost had 3000 hits and 200 HR's.
