The reports now is he wanted to leave the team Saturday, he cried when they told him he wasnt going to be the starting catcher anymore and just a DH.

Jorge better start to wake up and realize the hard truth, he's 40 and just not good anymore. Who the hell would take him. The Yankees are going to have to open a roster spot soon if he isnt producing.

Eh, if Posada is done crying, I don't think they are going to move him. It would be wasting $10 million, and I don't think the Yankees are going to let him walk because he's part of the "Core Four."

You think the Yankees care about 10million when they over pay that on average for players. I really think thats why people hate the Yankees, they say the Phillies are becoming the Yankees of American League which is bullshit. They are acquiring talent but not overpaying, the Yankees will overpay just so someone else wont get him.

Well, Brian Cashman told Derek Jeter to find a better offer instead of bidding against himself. I think he's become a little more money conscious in recent seasons, at least in regards to wasting money. Given the potential backlash of releasing Posada and the $10 million that goes wasted, I can see where he wasn't released.

Oh, and I do agree with your point about the Phillies. But I hate the fact that we have such high payrolls in baseball, with no cap of any kind in sight.

The bigger issue is Arod, he isn't hitting anything right now. Granderson is fucking locked in right now BTW. He's destroying lefties, Lester last night and tonight vs Price. Martin is doing too good a job defensively and at the plate to put Jorge back there. The starters aren't carrying their load but you can't blame a catcher for a pitcher missing their spots.

Not blaming the pitchers or Arod, just calling Jorge a baby. He's washed up and his career is over. Let it go Jorge, let it go.

I haven't liked Posada for quite a while.. mental mistakes on the base-paths, always seemingly having an attitude, not running everything out, being a baby when not starting for AJ in the past.. time to bench him for good.
