It could be argued that Trevor May and a healthy Brody Colvin are better and in a year or two I would say Biddle will be better. But I have no clue who is a better hitter in our system than Singleton.

I'm still on cloud 9 over this deal. I haven't come down since waking up to the news at 11 AM.

We fucking FLEECED them. Best trade this franchise has seen since Edgar Renteria for Jurrjens and Omar Infante. Completely erases the memory of the Teixeira debacles.

Calling the current Astros' roster "cupcakes" for their opponents would be an insult to cupcakes

          lol

IIRC lot of publications had Cosart as the Phils top pitching prospect though.

and I really like Singleton, who at 19 was posting a similar OPS in the same league that Brown was at 22...and I feel has more star potential than Brown.

              Yes, Brown as a prospect.

I thought Colvin was their top pitcher.

Don't know why we need another setup man but Robertson, Soriano (He's back), Bell then get the ball to Mo, Game Over

I suppose we can trade Bell after this season but I don't really get it. Unless Mo retires after this season but still has one more year on his deal and we also have Soriano.
Pretty sure Bell is a free agent at the end of the year (though he'll qualify as a Type A guy).

Astros top 3 minor league teams are a combined 60 games under .500.

Throw in the big league team, and they are 97 games under.

Ken Rosenthal says Rangers have deal in place for Heath Bell.

So both Bell and Adams to Texas?

                            Mike Adams to Texas.

                            NOT Heat Bell.

SOURCE: GEORGE W. BUSH AND NOLAN RYAN ARE NOT IN THE HEATH BELL TRADE.

THE RANGERS ACTUALLY ACQUIRED TREVOR HOFFMAN.

I GIVE UP. THE ENTIRE PADRES BULLPEN IS GOING TO TEXAS IN EXCHANGE FOR THE 2010 AMERICAN LEAGUE PENNANT.

Texas controlling Adams and Koji through the 2012 season, not a bad deadline weekend for them.
