In the past I wouldn't want him, but he is killing lefties this year.

Don't get sucked in. He's always hit lefties well, and he always crushes for his first 100 at bats with a new team (like this year with KC, which is inflating his yearly numbers).
He's fucking awful though and his numbers since May reflect his career norms. You will hate him by his third week on the team, trust me on this.Comment

Now there is talk of the Reds acquiring Bourne and Pence, with Leake, Alonso, and Heisey (and more, presumably) headed to Houston, and then the Reds sending either Bourne or Stubbs to a third team (Rockies).
Matt Maloney is starting for Louisville tonight, Willis is presumably starting for the Reds (but Giants beat reporters are saying that is still up in the air), and Wood has been pushed back until tmw, where he will either start for Louisville or come up if the Reds move Leake.Comment

Brian Giesenslaw (sp?) came on MLB Network a hour ago and said Wood was starting tomorrow for the Reds. The Reds primary beat writer (John Fay) says MLB Network screwed up, and Wood is pitching for Louisville tmw (for now).
According to the Reds, Willis is still pitching tonight, despite what the Giants writers are tweeting.Comment

Clearly Leake is involved in something, so they moved Wood back a day to buy themselves time to work it out. We'll know by this time tomorrow.Comment
