If the Blue Jays are a bunch of cheaters, they must really suck at doing it.....when was the last time they made the playoffs?
And besides, it isn't like there are tons of other players cheating in baseball now is there? Maybe I should put an * beside cheating and define it better. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
"rammer" and "cummings"
The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.Comment

The Blue Jays should probably clean house and fire Alex Anthopoulos. That way the Brewers can fire Melvin and hire Anthopoulos as GM. I'd wet my pants if that happened.
Hopefully this doesn't cast to much of a negative light on Bautista's MVP season and the tremendous job Anthopoulos is doing as GM. He's no doubt a top 5 GM in the game, and one could argue he's the very best.Comment

Hell right now they are 13th on the power ranking board on espn, 1 spot behind the Rays. I don't see any reason they can't skip past the Rays and be in 3rd at the end of the year. Being over .500 and finishing in 3rd behind the Yanks and Sox is a big step in the right direction.
That Rasmus deal was a big win for them, and I have read that they could be adding more payroll in the offseason which is scary if they add another quality bat or two.
And a lineup with Bautista, Fielder, Rasmus, Lawrie, etc. and all their young pitching. WOW!Comment

They'd have the money to sign Prince Fielder (I believe KG called this a year ago), which would make me happy. I know he's leaving, so I'd prefer he leaves the NL. If he goes to the cubs it would be like a slap to the face.

I think he's a good fit for our lineup.
p.s. Just watching AA's press conference about it, he's just lol'ing at how silly this is.Comment

Yet more bitch-assness from our nation's pastime.
When Bautista next came up to bat, he struck out. After the inning, he ran to right field, adjacent to the visitors 'pen, and the livid player issued Bautista a warning.
"We know what you're doing," he said, referring to the man in white, according to the player and two witnesses. "If you do it again, I'm going to hit you in the [f------] head."
It's done them a whole lot of good in not making the playoffs since Joe Carter :smugusa:

More food for thought, here are the 2010 splits for Alex Gonzalez between Toronto and Atlanta.
Toronto: .259 BA, .296 OBP, .497 SLG, .793 OPS
Atlanta: .241 BA, .291 OBP, .386 SLG, .676 OPS
So Yunel gained 100 points in slugging and Sea Bass lost 100, within the same season. No wonder Yunel has "figured things out" so well in Toronto. Cheating fucks.
BTW if you aint cheating you aint trying. Until the MLB makes an issue of this all the whiny opposing players can eat a giant dick. We're not even winning, get the fuck over it.Comment

And lol @ that picture proving anything other than someone wore white in the outfield. Last time I checked, people wear white regularly to Jays games since we... you know...have white jerseys.
The guy probably left his seat to go tell security that Bobby Jenks is threatening to kill him for doing the wave.Comment

Brewers got what they wanted, an NL Central crown. We look better coming out of this then the Cardinals do in the Rasmus trade.Comment

I was literally thinking about picking him up the day or two before you did, then forgot. So mad.Comment
