Nah those tweets aren't funny on their own, I think it's more just the fact that he is so obsessed with Gattis while also compulsively tweeting the same terrible jokes and comments to every national and local beat writer he can think of is the funny part.
Just wait until this guy gets his custom El Oso Blanco jersey and shows up to the Ted wearing that and a polar bear head.Comment

My friend on facebook, predicting BJ Upton's season:
I think he'll get a 30/30 if he can keep that average at least in the high .260s
He could hit .260, he could get 30 steals, and he could get 30 homers, and he could likely do none of these things, but either way none would affect the other. They are all independent, loosely correlated events IMO.Comment

Another gem from Pitty.
Depends on the year Domonic Brown has, with that variable, if Brown is hitting as well as he has in Spring and Howard is protected, I'll say between .255-.265 with 40-45 HR's, if Brown flops and there is no protection, .240, 34 HR's.Comment

I'm so frustrated, Gattis has earned the right to start(sheesh!) on opening day, yes he can handle veteran pitching, yes, he can call a game, I'd rather have him facing Hamels than Laird. laird needs more time to heel up. I believe Hamels would have his way easy w/ Laird(.100 avg.) So far Gattis hasn't even embarrased the team w/ his play, nor his bat, he's been stellar, let the caution about him go, he's hungry, he's the real deal, seems like some folks say "if " too much. Laird isn't half of a David Ross(man, what would it be if he were still here), sure Laird is a veteran, but Gattis has been leaps & bounds. His defensive ability is more than adequate. Let laird help him in between innings, that would be decent veteran influence for em'. Keep busting it Great White Bear!Comment

In regards to the Cubs signing players after this coming season:
Either way they aren't going to sit on all the cap space they will have for another off-season.Comment

The guy who edited the Mariners THE SHOW roster for Operation Sports, defending rating Danny Hultzen an 80, 1 point higher than the undisputed top pitching prospect, Dylan Bundy:
For Hultzen you really need to look at the sum of his parts. If it wasn't for the command issue at AAA (which I believe to be a blip on the radar based on his track record and what he did this spring) he would be a top 10 pitcher, maybe even a top 10 prospect.Comment

Puig is a 77 OVR too. The rosters are really unbalanced. The guy from the Nats gives Rendon a 66 while the guy doing the Ms put anyone who could be considered a prospect in the mid to high 70s with A potential.Comment
