    Don't get me started on paint-by-number bullpen usage. Drives me nuts.

    Why managers continue to "save" their best RP for a clean 9th inning with a 3 run lead, while using their 8th or 10th best pitcher in the 7th with two on and two out, is beyond my understanding and can only be chalked up to potential media backlash.

      I completely agree. Time and time again you watch as a team blows their lead by having a middle of the pack reliever pitching instead of their best reliever. WHen shit hits the fan, then they bring that guy in, but by that point, it is way too late. One day, someone will stop fucking up and change the damn game.

      Back on the topic, I like the idea of it, but I think KG's would work best. If that became a rule, MLB would obviously throw in some clauses preventing that from being exploited.
