it seems more like a "most expensive" than "worst" list when you look at the infielders.

that's the price being paid for the superstar players because of the lack of a cap and teams like the Yankees throwing around money without a single fuck given.

I do enjoy Wells/Rios being up there...not wearing blue caps.

Brandon Inge making a list. Almost as laughable as him being invited to the Home Run derby.

I can't believe that Lackey's contract isn't on this list.

EDIT: Ah, I see there's nothing on there for pitchers.

I think it was just position players.

Yeah, saw that right after I posted it.

Bronson Arroyo better be making an appearance on that pitcher's list.

Huge over reaction on Uggla. His avg. is always going to be volatile, but he's actually signed to a pretty team friendly price. 30 HR hitters don't grow on trees.

Agree that he is BRUTAL defensively however. Wish he'd have moved to LF instead of Marty but what can you do?

four years, 36 mill with a potential for another 9 mill in incentives

average defensive capability, standard black infielder at baserunning, absolutely no bat and little room for improvement

I just looked at your catchers from last year.

                          Holy shit they were awful.

                            Source?

I've hated the Werth signing for a while. Honestly, even if he were to hit his career averages, he still wouldn't be worth it. I could see that money somehow costing us the chance to re-sign Zimmerman
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"
