You know your contract sucks if it tops Zito and Burnett's in a bad contracts list.

I was at Spring Training last year and we went to the Giants complex to watch them play the Dodgers. I got to see all the SFG pitchers warming up on a practice field and I pointed out Zito to my girlfriend and muttered a comment like "that guy makes a TON of money." Some Giants fan standing by me turned around and shook his head "worst contract ever."

I patted him on the back and reminded him that the Dodgers just finished paying Jason Schmidt. At least Zito is available to pitch. Still has one of the nastiest curveballs in the game when he's throwing well.

Huge over reaction on Uggla. His avg. is always going to be volatile, but he's actually signed to a pretty team friendly price. 30 HR hitters don't grow on trees.

Agree that he is BRUTAL defensively however. Wish he'd have moved to LF instead of Marty but what can you do?

30 HR from your 2B you'll take all day. I don't think his contracts that bad.

He has the highest ISO rating for a 2B ever. (ISO is slugging percentage minus batting average, just a raw power metric.)
