      If it is even close to being equal, most managers are going to go with the guy with tenure or with a veteran unless the new guy is a superstar or something. And a lot of teams save "the best guy" for the home opener these days.

      In short, the outrage here is pretty silly. Nothing wrong with Dempster starting opening day.
      The Cubs open at home.
