Joe Maddon with a fantastic response to the low-class tactics by the Red Sox and Bobby Valentine.

The fans in the stands aren't much better as they threw a few racial slurs at Price and Upton. Maddon later said that the Rays won't be intimidated and will respond in kind. I wouldn't look for anything in tonight's game. I would think you may see something when the Sox come back to Tampa.

I also like how Saltalamacchia tried to usher Scott to first base. Scott just put his hands around his fucking throat and told him not to touch him.

Here are a few more things. The first video is from the Rays broadcast team, you can hear Dewayne Staats and Brian Anderson in absolute disbelief about how there were no ejections.

Luke Scott saying "You reap what you sow."

It's pretty clear that Bobby V is the instigator in all of this and it is such a pathetic move to win back the heart of the fans. He was just such an asshole on the field last night. Picking fights with Tom Foley, George Hendrick, Sean Rodriguez, Chris Gimenez, Drew Sutton, etc. Anyone he could try to piss off, he did.

Cole Hamels admits to hitting Bryce Harper and he is suspended for 5 games. Bobby Valentine says it was the "Fenway Ghosts" who made sure Scott was hit for his comments about Red Sox fans, yet, the commissioner's office has not made a comment. Like I said, I doubt Joe Maddon will have our guys retaliate tonight, but, next trip down to Tampa...I would guess that Youk, Ortiz or Pedroia gets plunked.
