Dylan Bundy has been selected for the Futures game.

    On another note:

Dylan Bundy makes a scoreless All-Star debut
    June 19, 2012|By David Selig
In what Orioles fans hope is the first of many All-Star appearances as a professional, top pitching prospect Dylan bundy tossed a scoreless sixth inning in Tuesday's California-Carolina League All-Star Game in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Bundy walked one and struck out two for the Carolina League All-Stars, who won 9-1. The right-hander representing the High-A Frederick Keys threw 14 of his 21 pitches for strikes.

The Rangers are one organization that's gonna build their pitchers different then how everyone else does it now, i'm interested to see how that will work out with their pitchers...

That was Chris O'Leary's belief. Personally, I think pitching mechanics are so complicated that it can't be reduced to one thing like an inverted W. But, honestly, who knows?

Sucks, looks like Bundy is going to have to undergo Tommy John.

              Surgery scheduled for tomorrow.

He'll be even better when he returns next year.

Yep, like I said in another thread, arm trouble for pitchers is almost like chicken pox. If you know it's inevitable, the younger you are when you "get it" the better equipped your body is to recover.

Elbow trouble is like the chicken pox. Shoulder problem is still like the plague.

If it doesn't work out as a starter he could be one hell of a closer if he only has to worry about 1 inning a game. You obviously give him a chance to start again but if he starts looking like Rich Harden 2.0 then they may go that route.

Orioles pitching prospect Dylan Bundy threw 18 pitches during his first rehab start Tuesday.
Bundy is currently rehabbing in extended spring training. He allowed two home runs during the outing, but said he felt fine physically. Bundy's fastball reportedly hit between 90 mph and 92 mph. He's slated to pitch again Saturday.
In case you guys forgot about this guy
