Was nice seeing Chapman come in and have a 1 2 3 inning after he has given up a few runs lately.

DatDude has 23 RBI in his last 18 games, not too shabby.

The future of the shortstop position:



Fields like Ozzie, hits like Jeter.

No. Fields really well but he is no where near being an elite offensive shortstop. He's going to struggle at the plate.

He's hitting .326 brah. Contact rate is elite.

13 games is a bit of a small sample size to be basing on. His ISO is more than 2 times anything he's done in a full season of minor league ball.

Not too worried about the power, he still projects as a high contact, high average line drive hitter. Either way I think you and I can both agree he's a keeper.

Need we say it anymore? His glove is tastic.

When will Mike Matheny get the balls to remove Motte from the closer's role? You need to start using other pitches at some point, Jason.

Dear God ... Ryan Zimmerman is awful right now. I have no idea what the hell is going on with him, but he is killing the Nats right now. Every time he comes up to the plate with runners on, I just hope he doesn't GIDP.

Yea, I don't think I saw him have a good swing this series at all. Even the one he hit to right field where he thought he got all of it, wasn't that good of a swing.

Phillips is unreal. Day after day he makes incredible plays like the between the legs one today look routine. Reds are rollin, 6 in a row...lets keep it up when we head to that shit town of Cleveland tomorrow.

Also, Mike Leake's new nickname is THE PLUG. The Drip is no longer.
