        No he edited his post and deleted me quoting him. Originally he wrote that the Mets might start playing Dickey after 4 days rest and he is worried that might mess Dickey up.

          No, you never quoted me. I did mistake it for 4, not 3 though.

          I rather they not go down that route until later into August if necessary. As long as the rotation is doing as well as they are now, why risk burning him out?

            Dickey didn't have his knuckler working well early, but kept the team in the game. 11-1 strikeouts to walk ratio will usually do the job. The Mets came back to win the game in the 9th so he will end up with 12 wins at the ASB.

            Still unclear who may start for the NL on Tuesday. Reports are out that LaRussa may be concerned about Posey's ability catch the knuckleball, so he could hold Dickey out until Yadier Molina gets in.
