I think you guys should bump the A's thread from April. A's are in the mix.

A's are 23-9 since June 12. Arbitrary end point or not, they are intriguing. One of my favorite teams to watch this year.

Yeah, it's not just the TJ thing, but overall work together. We'll see how he does over the next two, and that might be a better determination.

I hope they give Cozarts diving stop and flip to BP for a double play as much credit as it deserves. That was a hell of a play.

Today I witnessed two pitchers hitting home runs off each other in the same inning.

That was a wild game with how many home runs we're hit (6 total?) and Cain and Hamels both going yard on each other.

Melky Cabrera is the shit. Without him the Giants would suck ass. Posey and him are the only bats in the entire line up. They really need to add 1 more.

If they could have kept Beltran this team would have been so scary. Losing Zach Wheeler and not resigning Beltran sucks.

Yeah it was a home run derby out there at Citizens Bank Park, it always is when I go to a game there.

I was telling my dad the same thing, outside of Melky and Posey (and Sandoval too I guess) that lineup is as bad as it gets. But when those two get on base as much as they've been, it's enough to win ball games.

LOL at this if true ...

At 2 p.m., Sunday, #Indians presented Roberto Hernandez, aka Fausto Carmona, with 3 birthday cakes to cover his jump in age from 28 to 31

IIRC, Zimmermann had some struggles in mid July last season. So it could be arm fatigue associated with really not throwing much over the last two seasons.
The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

Congrats to Miguel Cabrera for getting his 300th home run!

Tigers sweeping the White Sox, such an important series.

                          RIP 2012 Milwaukee Brewers.

77 straight games with a HR at GABP streak ended today.
