Price goes tonight vs Oakland. Oakland is red hot, hopefully he can cool them down.

So the Brewers finally told Nyjer to fuck off, dumped the platoon and made Carlos Gomez an every day starter. Carlos immediately wins player of the week. Watch out baseball.

Can't spell "he went yard" without Heyward.

I can't wait for this weekend. I'm very disappointed in the Dodgers getting roasted by the Dbacks right after sweeping the Giants. Hopefully these series against the Cubs and Rockies do well to get the Dodgers hot and on top of the Divsion.

Reed Johnson leading off today to supplant Michael Bourn ... but the twist is that it's Jason Heyward who is taking Bourn's spot in the field. Johnson will play right.

Could be preparing for life after Bourn if they can't re-sign him...

I saw that Poptorino popped up a 2-0 fastball down late...get used to that dude.

I don't understand why hes in left...with Kemp's hammy I thought they'd put Vic in CF.

Schierholtz goes yard in his first game as a Philly. Good to see him start off well.

                    Hopefully Pence contributes tonight.

Ryan Ludwick is on some sort of tear at the plate. 8 RBI in the last 2 games.

I don't get it either. Kemp said he'd be totally fine moving over, so it must be a Mattingly thing. Maybe they want an off day or two to take some balls in different OF positions or something. Kemp's hammy seems okay, though. He made a pretty awesome diving catch this afternoon.

LOL at the Giants fans giving Pence a standing ovation before his first AB. That love fest will last about a series or two until they realize he actually is mentally retarded.

God forbid fans actually try to be encouraging and supportive.

And you must not know how bad the giants lineup is. Pence is an upgrade no matter how you slice it.

Nobody here expects him to light the world on fire right away. It'll take him some time to adjust to the new team and field. He will contribute eventually.

                              Thanks for this, Obst Heyman.
