[BBWAVSN] 2012 MLB Awards and Voter Information

The ballots have been submitted, the votes have been counted. I am ready to reveal the results. The awards will be revealed one at a time over the next week, but first I would like to thank the voters for their effort. Eleven ballots were used to formulate the BBWAVSN awards this year, a disappointing turnout; but we did get a strong balance between quality posters and functioning retards. Couldn't have it any other way here. Each voter and their credentials are detailed below.

I would also like to thank the VSN administrators for their participation (or should I say lack there of). VSN has 6 administrators, many of which participate in baseball discussion. Not a single one of them could be bothered to fill out a ballot. Way to participate in the only thing of interest that has happened on this site, other then the house jms is building. But seriously, fuck you guys.

Anyways, each voter ranked their top ten choices for MVP in each league. A first place vote was worth 14 points, 2nd was 9 points, 3rd was 8 points, and so on. All other awards required the top five choices to be ranked, with a first place vote being worth 7 points. Each persons ballot will be reviewed a few days after the voting is revealed. That way everyone has time to speculate on who cast some of the more outlandish votes.

My ballot, my opinions on them. My apologies if Gooby doesn't like it, but it should be factored in no matter what. And I don't care what other people think about it, my concern is that it was misrepresented that I didn't send a ballot when I actually did. I also wasn't a fan of picking 10 players, and my original ballot contained five for MVP, and then I'll admit to submitting a BS list 6-10 by looking at Fangraph WAR as my primary decision.
