Then he's done. Third season he's had shoulder issues. Flip Laroche for a lefty or back of the rotation guy, put Zim at first and play Rendon at third.

I think that is a reasonable scenario for 2014. Rendon is not ready for the call up right now. You have to wonder if moving Zimmerman to 1st base has been in the plan for awhile now because the organization has completely neglected 1st base in the minors. Right now the best 1st base prospect they have is Matt Skole and he is a converted 3rd baseman.
