The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"

The Indians rotation to start the second half will be LHP Scott Kazmir, RHP Corey Kluber, RHP Justin Masterson, RHP Ubaldo Jimenez, TBD.

A lot of breaking stuff from what I saw.

Anyway, I guess Davey is "laying down the law" with the new lineup

                Harper
                Rendon
                Zimmerman
                Laroche
                Werth
                Desmond
                Span
                Ramos

I have no idea why he insists on hitting Ramos 8th all the time. I understand that a guy like Desmond struggles, but it seems like a waste of Ramos' power and he's way too easy to get out at second on a sacrifice bunt.

Easy, because the catcher always hits 8th in the NL.

Some teams employ the b2b pitcher approach at the bottom of the order.

Alright so there's a lot of roster movement going on in Braves Country right now so I'll just lump it all into one post. The 25 man is kind of in shambles right now, so here goes.

                        - BJ Upton will hit the DL retroactive to Friday night, his injury is more severe than Justin or Heyward so he was the guy who opted to sit out to make room for ...
                        - Evan Gattis, who returns today and will play 1B because ...
                        - Freddie Freeman has a sore thumb and was noticeably uncomfortable swinging the bat yesterday. He's questionable for the ASG
                        - Heyward won't be back until after the break, but Justin Upton can play today if needed
                        - Jordan Schafer will probably be out for at least another month with a stress fracture in his ankle
                        - Jose Constanza was called up yesterday, and the corresponding move was sending Alex Wood to Gwinnett, where he will join the rotation until he's eligible to return on July 23 - at which point...
                        - He is expected to take a spot in the Braves rotation, presumably replacing Medlen who will return to a bullpen role
                        - There is still the question of Brandon Beachy, who made a rehab start the other day (vs. Jair Jurrjens funny enough) and was unspectactular. He did not feel any soreness so physically he's probably there, but he's not getting the results he wants so far. He could take Maholm's spot at any point this month, but who knows how aggressively they'll push it.

                        Whew, think that's everything.
