He'll be a nice doubles guy in the majors, I think he gets called up late season and has a strong chance at the starting job next spring. I' actually pretty excited to see what he can do at the major league level, he destroyed in Spring Training. But we got some good first baseman with him and Dennis Rabean in our system.

But yay, finally a win today. Nice to Jr. hit a homer.

Beltre strung together 2 solid games as well. Read the hitting coach found something bad with his swing two days ago. Hope he is here to stay for the rest of the season.

morrow needs to be something else not a closer, its shouldn't be what he wants but what the team wants. Luckily he is now removed from this role

Yeah, Aardsma is doing well in the role now. I just read that Yuni might be traded to the Pirates for Jack Wilson. God I hope that happens. Either that or Yuni suddenly becomes a .350 OBP guy. Well, even then Wilson commits 15 less errors a year than Betancourt. Make the trade happen already.

Then trade Bedard or Washburn while they have value for someone who can hit 30-40 bombs a year with a solid OBP.

I swear we are 1 guy away from being serious contenders for the AL West. That one power threat would provide protection for either Griffey or Beltre and their numbers would go up as well.

Was at the game last night, god I wish that Griffey ball went out, would have been amazing.

But I would just like to see a new shortstop for the team, anyone really. That would immediately improve the team.

I would enjoy Jones back, but thats hindsight. He struggled when he was here at the major league level

I think that the pen needs the most help right now. Can't be blowing leads no matter how small or big.

The pen is fine. We need a power bat if we want to even have a shot at the division.

it could go either way having a big bat to get runs back after you lose the lead or a strong bullpen to hold the lead

i'll eat crow and say that a big bat is now needed since Beltre has gone down.
