Yeah, Washburn needs to go. Plus the Lopez and Yuni combo is not working. One can't hit or field and the other can't field. Griffey is hitting around .200 but has the most walks on the team I think. He needs to start picking up his game.

I wanted the Yuni to Pittsburgh trade to go through for Jack Wilson. Griffey is fine with his OBP but he needs to bring his power and average up a bit to justify keeping him next season. Hopefully one of the prospects can step up and contribute in the second half of the season.

I agree while cedeno isn't much of an upgrade, he can't do any worse

any gameday photos would be great, but I'll check out the render sites if your willing to post them. I salivate at the thought of hardy on the team.

Not the biggest fan of Hardy, but would be a great upgrade over what we have.

Seems like a steep price for him, but none of those guys will be significant Major Leaguers in my opinion, so whatever. Take what is known, but I would hold on for something a little better.

But yay Yuni is gone, the year is already deemed a success.

It's a long blog, basically it's JJ Hardy to the Mariners for Bedard, Washburn and cash. As a Brewer fan, I would love to see this happen. Thoughts?

thats a lot for a little, I know Washburn is getting old and Bedard has injury problems but they have been pitching pretty well this year

So, are the M's going to be buyers or sellers? I know everyone is reporting that they could go either way depending on how they do in the next few series. I hope they add a SS and get something decent for Bedard. The guy walks way to many batters and can't get past the 5th inning lately. Adam Jones is looking really good now isn't he. Too bad he didn't do Jack with Seattle.
