A high pitch from Josh Beckett to Bobby Abreu as time was being called touched off a bench-clearing incident in the first inning of Sunday's game between the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels.
thanks for posting that article but I actually watched the game and it wasn't a brawl. Not a single punch was thrown, they were all just wandering around on the field aimlessly.
Very close game so far tonight. Scioscia needs to grow a brain and put Napoli at the DH spot while Vlad's gone and start Mathis instead of putting Maicer Izturis at DH. He can hit with runners in scoring position, but we have a no-power hitter in the 3rd spot. Its sad.
