Nothing has broke the early edition of SportsCenter, lol. I've done some recent research and it's the same ole rumors. I'm looking forward to see if the Cavs will make any moves. I wish that Z would've opted out though and freed up 10M. It would've been nice.

          Yeah, no shit?

An aging center that NO ONE wants? I'd milk the franchise for another 10M, too.

If the cavs sign Charlie, and let Anderson "I flop on every Play" Varaejo walk its gonna be scary for other east teams

              IMO it's a pipe dream.

Even with the Shaq trade guys know that Cleveland is still in trouble.

Orlando's signing of VC is huge in the fact that they lost Turkoglu. Normally teams don't lose a guy of that caliber. And get a former superstar to fill that role? Great move. VC is in his twilight. Lets be real, he's fading. However, he has been playing in Jersey. So I can understand if he's been a bit "off".

Celtics nabbing Sheed would be HUGE for Boston to trump the Cleveland/Orlando acquisitions.

I think if the Cavs make a move at Charlie V. They keep Varejao out of the loop. Keep Varajao on a leash and if you sign Charlie dump Andy. If the Charlie signing can't happen they'll still have Andy on the back burner.

Cleveland needs Mo Williams to get in his ear. "Hey I came here and Cleveland considered me a hero." Let Charlie V know that he'll be well loved and respected, and he gets to play with LeBron James. Nothing but positives for both sides, money will keep this deal from happening right away as teams wait on Portland to get started.

I wish it was the deadline opens July 1st, closes July 2nd.

They're saying on ESPN that Boston and San Antonio has the best shot at getting Sheed. They also said Ben Gordon is headed to Detroit today.

Gordon and CV are both in Detroit right now being shown around. Nothing newsworthy, but just showing that Detroit is going after their top guys early.

i think sheed goes to the spurs, if i was him i would want to go there.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

Sixers trading Miller to the Blazers?

Andre Miller is probably off to Portland in sign-and-trade with Philly, with Steve Blake heading to the Sixers.

                              Heat won't spend midlevel exception

With the Heat reluctant to spend its $5 million midlevel exception (unless a top player accepts it), cheap veteran free agent point guard options are limited to the likes of Jason Hart, Juan Dixon, Bobby Jackson and Flip Murray. Jannero Pargo and Carlos Arroyo, who played in Europe last year, can return to the NBA (Pargo's agent spoke to Miami) but might be too pricey.

Fuck. 1 year mle, what do you have to lose?
